Common questions
Before we begin.
What should I bring to a first conversation?
The property address, a short outline of what you want to do, and any existing plans or photographs are useful starting points. You can also explain the questions you would like help resolving.
Can you help with alterations or additions to an existing building?
ASA’s team prepares drawings and building plan submissions for alterations and additions to residential and commercial buildings. The appropriate scope depends on the property and the information already available.
How long will my project take?
Timing depends on the scope, available information, design development and any external submission processes. Discuss the anticipated stages with ASA once the brief is understood.
Do you work with other project professionals?
ASA’s work includes coordination of technical information across project disciplines. The specific professionals and responsibilities depend on the project and agreed appointment.
